The thrill of it all
It’s a little early but we are making plans for Halloween. There are two events we hope to attend. The first one is the 4th Annual Reno Zombie Crawl. It’s a beer crawl with a twist. Participants dress up as scary Halloween zombies or in my case turn into one after a few stops at local participating taverns. It should be great fun. Our friend from Sacratomato will be joining us.
There will also be a Thriller Dance right before the crawl starts (7pm October 29th) right in front of the newly opened CommRow downtown! This year they are participating in Thrill the World, an international attempt to break the world record for amount of people simultaneously performing the Thriller dance at one time! There will be practice dances held at the local gym every Thursday night from now until the event.
Side Note: CommRow is the old Fitzgerald Hotel. The 60,000 square foot complex will feature the world’s tallest climbing wall (197 feet), a world-class 7,000 square foot indoor bouldering park, two live entertainment venues and eleven high designed food and beverage vignettes. I took a picture of it the other night as it was nearing completion.
